Chiba Overseas Business Support Center (COBSC), is stationed at Japan External Trade Center(JETRO) chiba office. Its aim is to enhannce overseas business activities and operations for small and mid-sized enterprises(SMEs) in Chiba prefecture.

A Business Support Adviser is appointed to carry out COBSC mission stand by at JETRO Chiba office to promote bellow mentioned tasks for SMEs in Chiba prefecture;- SUPPORTING OVERSEAS BUSINESS CREATION.
- PROMOTING INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS NETWORK.
- MATCHING FOREING FIRMS AND SMES IN CHIBA.
- PRESENTING OVERSEAS BUSINESS INFOMATION.
- PROMOTING BUSINESS EXCHANGE WITH FOREIGN FIRMS.
- ARRANGING BUSINESS SEMINAR AND SESSION.
Within Japan External Trade Center(JETRO) chiba office, Chiba Investment Support Center (CISC) is also organized to assist overseas firms to establish business base in Chiba.
